I've been rather busy lately, moving ahead with some of my entrepreneurial projects, in addition to building my network and business in the Pacific Northwest. There is a lot of good, fertile business opportunity here.
I've been working with a Washington State-based winery for the past three months to help upgrade their ecommerce website. This is a Drupal project, and has come with some great educational benefits for me. I've done things I've never done before in web development.
I'll reveal the name of the winery when the project is complete. The project was arranged by Creative Circle, and I'm working directly with Perpetual Promo and Wines of Washington.
Help has come from a growing network of developers in the Pacific Northwest. I'll credit Brian Getting of Terra Firma Design in Newport, Oregon, as the first.
My iSpot investment has paid off. This illustration assignment was brought to me by Scott Crawford of Hanley Wood LLC in Washington, DC, and found by searching the iSpot directory of illustration.
Practical eCommerce and Ecommerce Developer have been my clients for several years now, but we just stepped up our relationship with more consistent projects. I'll also be doing almost exclusively web design for the two brands, in addition to some Flash and video projects.
My most recent Twitter wallpaper captured the interest of a church in Sacramento, Calif., who would like to have a similar look with their sanctuary vibe. I'll reveal who it is later, after I complete some work for them.
