This week will also be abreviated, but I’ll need to put in some long hours all the same. I’m finishing the first issue of Intelligent Utility, which has a lot of expectations, especially with the cover illustration. We’ve decided to create it as a literal illustration, as opposed to a metaphorical. Literal is much more challenging, but it also offers some new areas of growth and experience in progressive styles.
I’ll also be plowing ahead with Imaging Notes, the Winter 2009 issue. I’ve been with this publication for a long time, longer than any others, actually. I own 15% of it, and in 2009, I’m hoping to see some growth, and the value of that 15% going up. The demographic, geospatial, is growing (despite a recession), and the value of this enterprise should grow with it.
The website this post is on is not live yet, and one of my goals is to take it live before 2009, which leaves me with three days to finish it.
I did revise the CSS of it, allowing it to expand vertically. Previously it was a static height and width.
We continue with the new project, I now code-name Überzeckretprojekt, which will launch in 2009 and be a really exciting, recession-fighting enterprise. Stay tuned!
