This week is full of projects and tasks. The first thing is to up load EnergyBiz March/April 2009, which I completed over the weekend. It was difficult because the first cover illustration I completed was rejected by the client. I’ve posted it on the Veer Ideas:The Fat blog, and I will add it to my portfolio on this site later.

The second cover for the magazine was really good as well, but not without criticism and scrutiny.

This week I continue working on Health Elevations Spring 2009. I’ve encountered some fresh challenges with this, along with the usual production process. But overall it is going smoothly.

Last week I traveled to New Haven, Connecticut, to meet with staff at Yale University. I had thought I was going to pitch a proposal to win a bid to design a new website for the administrative business staff. As it turned out, I actually had the job already, as a person on staff there was advocating me, even with a small bit of bias. I sometimes discover I have fans in high places. Consider me humbled.

I have my work cut out for me, though, as the project is big and it is already on a fast-track. Thanks for the support of my good friend Dru Shockley, who is the chief of Focus on the Vine, a web development firm. So the project is more of a collaboration, but FOTV is working for me.

This week I also resume work on Imaging Notes, and Intelligent Utility.
