Getting a late start on this week’s post. Very busy again . . .
I have Tyler Mohoric writing transcripts for the film My Stunt Double, which needs to have Japanese subtitles for the Tokyo screening in August. I’m also finishing the titles and motion, and I have Nick Lathe composing music. Shane Andreasen will compose the final cut which will be burned to DVD and shipped to Tokyo, hopefully in time.
Getting to full momentum for EnergyBiz Sept/Oct 2009. The economy has affected revenues, so we have a slightly smaller book, as we did last issue. But energy seems to still be a thriving segment, and we still have enthusiastic readers.
I’m racing to the finish line with Maxcomm, a great new client which Yale University referred to me. I have to say “thank you” to Yale, particularly Anne Randolph, my former boss with LORE magazine, for referring Maxcomm to me. It’s proven to be an exciting and compelling project, giving me valuable real-world experience in a discipline which is relatively fresh to me.
I also continue a series of brochures for Rich Casto, a new client which came to me while I was shooting in Japan. They were previously a LORE advertiser, and were impressed with my work. I’m happy for the connection, and the extended network which LORE bred for me.
