This week I’m finishing the September/October issue of Intelligent Utility. As with some former issues, I’ve done the cover illustration. I liken this to serving house wine versus name-brand wine in a restaurant. I’m the “house illustrator” because my illustrations are done for about half the price. It’s really driven by budget, but it gives me good experience. I’ve added the illustration here in my illustration portfolio, and at Veer’s The Fat public blog.
I have entered the film My Stunt Double into the Olympia Film Festival. I won’t know if it’s been accepted until sometime in October. Meanwhile, I might as well enter it into some others.
We are wrapping up the final tasks for Maxcomm, which includes a fun Flash presentation of their core Promises of Leadership. This is a great client.
We’ve started posting regular articles on LBx. I find it is starkly different from publishing editorial for print, but it also has similarities. Less design, since it is all CSS, and less proofing, since the editor can log on and make corrections without my help. It also can be published instantly.
I find these days I do more microblogging at Twitter, so these entries seem to be fewer and further between. Relevant nonetheless, however.
